Monitor works, have no way of testing if i have dead pixel's. received rebate after all the hassle i had to go through. new egg customer service is polite and did resolve my problem.it gets four stars because of the cons below

This monitor has been nothing but great to me. I've used it on a PC and MAC on the road with my band recording audio. Its DVI and VGA ports both work great

It has a power supply

It has a great price with a rebate which includes a DVI port which you can't beat.

0 dead pix, 8 ms response time. Very little ghosting/blurring. Black is pretty close to black
