Warranty Issues

 

I've owned several Planar monitors in the past. My wife has a 18 inch LCD model that is 7 years old and still uses it for color correcting photographs.

Stellar Performer

 

New egg (as always) ROCKS... Why waste time shopping anywhere else?

This is by far and away the best LCD I have owned. Not quite as sharp as my 21" apple Studio CRT ; Were beginning to see a close in the LCD to CRT gap ; Came with dvi & dsub. Brilliant

HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAH those are speakers? They look like cooling ports and put out about as much sound ; Come on Planar. Why even bother? It's a nice gesture, but these speakers are so weak its almost insulting to the rest of my hardware

I am using it as a second monitor for my Mac. Its words great, the color is perfect. As always I got it fast from Newegg. They do it right

Great for graphics work

 

I do a lot of photo editing and web design, and I bought this display with that in mind. I definitely made the right choice. Couple that with Planar's stellar warranty and we have a winner!

HUGE size, even light distribution, great colors when calibrated, good price

The built-in speakers are totally unnecessary
