Quite Pleased

 

I'll admit I haven't researched monitors in awhile, so take the following with a grain of salt; unless and until LCD manufacturers adopt a 'zero tolerance' policy as far as how many dead pixels are acceptable, i will not consider buying one.

Don't have to worry about a dead pixel not being covered by warranty. Beautiful picture. Good support from NEC website

It's cheaper now than when I got mine

Great Monitor

 

I have owned this monitor over a year now , no problems, its still as bright and clear and vidid as day one . I play all my games at 1600 x 1200 and they look fantastic on this monitor

Well its heavy and takes up more room than lcd . Not really a con for this monitor , just a con for CRT's in general i guess

Great Buy

 

After it died I called in to their customer support and had a new one shipped out to me in less than 10 minutes. Great support.

Overall great monitor. The picture is equal to if not better than our Dell LCD monitor. Great refresh rates make it easy on the eyes

After about 1 year of use it started having problems with the gamma settings. Couldn't be changed and had to be compensated with software. Eventually everything became to dark to use

This Monitor is a Gem!

 

Easy installation of the .inf file from NEC.

Multiple resolution support, multiple refresh rates, clear sharp picture. What more could you ask for? It also has a great onscreen menu

Heavy! But it is a CRT, what would you expect

Disapointed

 

Bought a pair for our office manager cause they were cheap. At the 4 month mark one them died ( went partially dark and cant be adjusted no matter what) Shoulda shelled out The extra bucks and gone with a flat panel. It would have saved desk space and...

Dirt Cheap. It worked

for a 19" monitor the viewing area and overall quality look real crummy next to a 5+ year old *** monitor. Flimsy case

this is the best monitor you can get for the money, not to say that its also the same price as a CRT 17". this has crystal clear viewing and is a perfect pick for gaming or editing. thanks newegg for this monitor

Crystal Clear...

 

With a 19" CRT of this quality and low cost I still can't pull the trigger on getting an LCD.

The screen geometry is excellent and was very easy to set up, with the buttons easily accesible on the front of the monitor. I'm running at 1600x1200 and text is sharp and clear. Contrast is good with vibrant colors. For the price this monitor can't be...

Excellent monitor

 

This monitor just CANNOT be beat for the price. Not a single dead pixel. Very satisfied.

Excellent picture, very cheap and durable. Not a single dead pixel. Very easy navigation buttons
