I bought this monitor for my dad and hes been using it for maybe 2 years now. I personally seem to go through a monitor on a yearly basis(none that are asus)... wish i had his luck.

Great bang for the buck ; Looks amazing (as in it works as intended) ; i dont use the speakers so i cannot comment on them ; It is obviously plastic trimmed with a plastic stand. But it is surprisingly strudy ; reliable is my biggest pro

great monitor

 

I bought 2 for my family, now I weant one for me as well also I could cut costs and desk space by not having to buy desk speekers. the rest of my family isnt big audiophiles.

Great contrast, great picture responsivness is great ; no dead/bad pixels (And I ordered two of them), Asus solid brand ; large widescreen, modern look, even has speekers

Speeker are of low quality, but i expected that ; you want good quality buy real desk speekers ; but hey, they work, they sound lisenable ; i'm a huge audio person so I woudl always want a high end sound system ; dont let this steer you from this...

Things that I thought looked good on my laptop look GREAT on this monitor ; The monitor was simple to setup and use ; The built-in speakers are pretty good

There is no on-board volume control for the built-in speakers ; There are no extra outlets available
