Nice Monitor, bad packaging!

 

A little packing material could possibly protect the screen from getting so scratched up. When I first got the box, I thought it was a bunch of parts from one of my branches, until it was opened to see it was actually a monitor.

Comes with all the cables and stand. Powered up right away

The stand (2 pieces) and cables were loosely packaged, and with the way UPS tosses their boxes around, the screen had multiple scratches in it

Freezes - Must be hard reset often.

Worked great... until it died

 

I'm hoping this one is a fluke - I've used Acer monitors in the past and greatly enjoyed them. But for the cost of the monitor, and the RMA, I could have bought one of the more expensive, presumably more stable, competitors. I will not be attempting to...

Good color, crisp picture. A little flimsy on its base but easy to set up

Worked just long enough to be out of newegg's return policy then died. RMA'd it (first company I've seen to not offer a shipping label - shipping these things is exorbitant) and they told me nothing was wrong with it. It did work when I got it back -...

Good, but dead pixel

 

Monitor is light, and performs well. I'm not a professional graphic designer or obsessed over monitor performance, so take that as you will, but it looks fine and performs just fine for me

There's a dead pixel, always stays lit. It's off towards the upper right corner so it's not noticeable, and it's less hassle to put up with it than to RMA the monitor (even assuming I could), but it is marginally annoying and disappointing. One egg off...

Reasonable image quality although viewing angles are bad, as with all TFTs using TN technology.

The coil whine emitted by the monitor is pretty bad. Very irritating high pitched noises when there is a lot of contrast to display on the screen.

Lovely bright sharp monitor with very easy controls and enough space to do both my photographs and business applications.

Base is sturdy but connection to monitor seems a bit flimsy.
