I have been wanting this for a long time, and it was on sale. I absolutely love it. It scrapes the side of the bowl while stirring so you don't have to. buy it - it's great.

This is a great addition to the tools that came with my professional stand mixer. Allows me to keep mixing without having to stop and scrape down the sides of the bowl. This just makes me happy every time I use it :)

I bought this as it did not come with my Kitchenaid mixer and it's really helpful in that I don't have to push the ingredients down so much, plus I think it mixes the ingredients together even better.

This is just what we needed for making cakes, brownies and any other goodies! Don't have to take turn off and mix from the bottom up before you pour the batter into a dish anymore.

Honestly, this should be the stock blade that comes with the mixer. Once I purchased this, the stock blade has just sat in the drawer.\n\nAs a bonus - the white finish means that it cleans up well in the dishwasher, unlike the bare metal ones.
