It's Nothing But Nightmare!

 

I "bought" it with my American Express membership reward points about a year ago. Boy do I wish I picked something else from my wish list. This machine has given me nothing but headaches. Although the VCR portion works fine, the DVD player would freeze...

VCR works

DVD not progressive scan. It will randomly freeze during playbacks like a timed bomb

I also purchased on July 23. In December a tape stuck and would not eject. I called and they called me back and gave the address to send it back for replacement. I expected to get the same model back but did not. They replaced it with a SD-K220S which...

Good, fast rewind and clear playback. Easy to program

Lasted five months. Three weeks to get replacement which is a different model, & junk

Do not buy this machine unless you want maximum frustration.

 

I bought this machine because of the dual feature of DVD and VCR in addition to being able to play digital music (MP3s, etc.)

Plays both DVD and VCR and will play MP3 and WMA digital music

Very frustrating machine in many ways
