I've always like the Toshiba name as they have a reputation for quality and middle of road pricing in Electronics. This DVD player is no exception. When it was released, its price was in line with many others with similar features. I've owned it for ...

Component Output, Good quality, Backlit remote is easy in the dark.

Quirky features sometimes cause more problems than they solve.

Great DVD Player

 

Plays just about anything, CD, DVD, CD-R, DVD-R, MP3, NSTC or PAL formats.

Lack of some features. You can't advance to next frame or resume.

Best DVD player for the money

 

Component 5.1ch outputs,plays DVD-MP3,plays AUDIO-DVD's.

Poor MP3/JPEG menus,noise when playing CD's,no time remaining clock.

Great Price, Small Profile, Video and Audio In/Out Options,Mp3 and Jpeg viewing.

When playing mp3's and jpeg disks, play options could be more intuitive.
