Bought this DVD recorder to copy Hi-8 tapes to DVD as well as VHS tapes and digital camcorder movies. I found this recorder for under $100 and plunked my cash down to see how it works.

Good recording, but unable to set timer for set recordings

 

Purchased this DVD recorder after my last one died. It records nicely, and plays movies nicely, but thats about it. For the life of me, I cannot set the timer to record TV shows unless I am there when the show starts to record it. I set it correctly...
