Excellent recorder - very impressed for my first desktop recorder.

Uses DVD+R/RW only.

Works Fine for Me

 

Mine is connected to rooftop HD antenna and HD WS LCD TV.

Doesn't have ATSC tuner for HD, but, nothing else does that you can save and move recordings.

Totally Unreliable

 

Easy to program, Good for playback.

Numerous times this unit will record a show, show it on the menu and then not be able to play it.

relly surprised me! never planed to use this very much cuz we had a recorder that cost 3x as much in the living room, we bought this for another room and after using it for a couple days we ended up switching them!

great picture quality, great recording with lots of quality setings giving u anywhere from 1-9hrs of recordning time, interactive menues are easy to navigate, hdtv and dts hook-ups, screen saver is awsome if u have a plasma and are worried about burnt...

when u change channels the time displayed is the time from when u last changed channels, only does + format and i prefer - format but its not a big deal when u consider how great it is at everthing

What a rip off. Unreliable:schedule a program to be recorded and don't count on it; moreover, when that happens the DVD disc becomes unusable for future recording. The so-called commercial advance NEVER worked on any of the recordings that I was able...

Great for recording, flawed for playback

 

Easy out of the box recording and setup. Easily understood menus

Only works with half of the region 1 DVD movies out there, and RCA service has been far from helpful. Also, the HDMI output uses a toggle switch on the BACK of the unit, making it difficult if you have more than one TV/monitor in your setup. Sensing...

RCA DRC8060N DVD Recorder

 

This DVD recorder is so easy to use.I use it like a VCR. Just press the button to record, and then finalize the DVD when your done, and that is it. I have my Xbox 360 hooked up to my DVD recorder with the S-Video input in the front. I can record myself...

There are none. I am extremely happy with this purchase

Easy to use

 

Easy to set up timers & record.

Locks up sometimes(well 2 times in 2 months), need to do a hard reboot, unplug from back of system.
