Main problem is complication. Learning how to use is difficult until one gets used to the delay.

plays most movie file formats. copies dvd very easily and quick.

unit freezes occassionally needing a reboot. playing avi/divx files erases the time shift memory!

very complicated instructions. still unable to use properly.

HDD recording is very simple -

- but it does seem a little complex to do a "timed" recording.

It was easy to install and easy to follw instructions. Good quality recordings from hard drive and DVDS

It does take a while to turn on, about 15secs, so if you were in a rush it might irritate. Buttons on the remote are quite small

Time lapse recording allows live viewing to be paused, rewound 13 seconds etc - Great feature, use it a lot. Player looks good.

When switched on the player uses the Tuner source as the default start input rather than use the source last used before having been turned off. This is annoying since I use the EXT2 source and have to adjust the player each time its turned on.

Being able to record straight onto the hard drive Picture quality is excelant

When recording using Video Plus the DVD switches on to early and several times not got the ending.
