This film is good, not great, and certainly not the best for Eastwood. It's well written with some great acting by Hackman & Harris but they could have done so much more with it compared to the book. It's still worth a watch!

this film is absolutely terrible when compared to the book.....the film is completely different in all aspects bar the beginning and a few details. why they completely omit one of the main characters is beyond me and I just found the film utterly...

a good all round thriller played well by both leading men.I read the book years ago and wasn't disappointed with the transition to the big screen.the story goes along smoothly,another eastwood classic.
