I personally would prefer the old type basket to put my cuttlery in. The pull out tray for the cuttlery at the top drives me mad. I am an old lady with arthritic hands so putting the cuttlery in one by one is a nuisance. Otherwise my new dishwasher is...

confidence in the name Hot Point,quiet wash cycle,looks smart.

It doesnt dry things as well as our very old last machine. Stacking can be tricky although we are getting better at it

Programs take longer than old Hotpoint Aquarius

Plenty of wash cycle choice. Also, ease of loading, especially for cutlery.

Poor drying, even with extra dry function. Poor accessibility to salt refill. Cleaning could be better.

Small interior, knives and forks are in a pull out drawer instead of a basket which is a nightmare for loading!

Love the cutlery tray for ensuring a good wash of knives, forks and spoons which also allows more room for crockery & pans. only tend to use normal cycle but love options for extra dry or quick wash. Only ever had Hotpoint and never been disappointed.
