Never had a soundbar before so can't really compare but I am well impressed with this bit of kit. I have an LG tv and the soundbar turns on automatically with the tv which is good as I often see people complaining they have to turn soundbars on...

Subwoofer slightly bigger than I imagined but not really a problem. Doesnt come with an optical cable which you need for it to work, this could of been made clearer in description.

Good quality sound. Bass is powerful enough, is clearly a vast improvement on the built in speakers of my 49" LG screen.

Volume +/- works from TV remote however there are no numbered increments, it just shows a + when it goes up and a - when it goes down. Small issue but would be better if it was numbered.

Easy to use, once installed volume can be controlled by the TV remote handset, it automatically turns on & off with the TV too (I have an LG TV) sound improvement is dramatic.

It wouldn't work until I purchased an optical cable, which the instructions implied was optional. My LG TV is also brand new, installed by an engineer, & tuned into my internet etc, but still needed the optical cable for the sound bar to work.
