Decent little sound bar on sale

 

I'm using this to amplify the output from a Raspberry Pi B+ and it is acceptable for my application. I think it would be lacking for a "home theatre". Oh yeah, I paid $100 less than suggested retail. At that price, no problem; at full price, big problem.

Inexpensive. Remote control. RCA and 1/8" inputs. Good quality look and feel.

Doesn't play very loud. I think they claim 30W output but it doesn't seem that loud. Could be my input level is too low. This isn't the kind of thing I'd expect to listen to a sci-fi movie on. Maybe a soap opera.

I can't honestly think of any reason for anyone to buy this soundbar. Yes, it is inexpensive. You get what you pay for which is just some novel designed speakers that are no louder than what you have in your TV already. I purchased mine from NewEgg...

CHEAP. Lack of Digital Input Output power is no where near what is stated on rating Remote feels like it will break in your hand and has no range at all. Very directional. Pretty much have to be in line of site and no further away that 20 feet. Does...
