I'm using these with a Yamaha RX-A3050 in a 7.1.2 configuration, in a room with a smooth ceiling. As a speaker it does its duty to a reasonable standard. The technique of bouncing the sound off the ceiling is enough to fool the Yamaha's YPAO...
