BOSE Companion 2 Series III 2.0

Great well balanced sound. Good size for desktop and appear well made.

Nothing really, but a discreet light when they are switched on would be helpful.

Good basic speakers, plug and play.

Expected a little more depth in tone from a BOSE speaker but they do the job.

Sound good but not that great - a bit 'wooly' to my ears. Was expecting better.

Audio cable to computer only 1 metre - considering what these speakers cost Bose could have supplied at least 3 metre if not a 5 metre

Substantially better sound quality and frequency range than the in-built speakers in my laptop. Sufficient volume to fill a room (if required).

Rather heavy on the base. At this price point a base/treble control would be reasonable.

I love a wide range of music, including classical, and the subtle beauty of the sound of these speakers on chamber music and piano in particular is one I love. Subtlety is the key - a gorgeous sound for the money.

If you want to "pump up the volume" and go for falsely bumped up base, don't bother considering these speakers - you are bound to be disappointed.

I have had three pairs of speakers before these and there is absolutely no comparison whatsoever!! The sound from the Bose speakers is fantastic and I would definitely recommend them.

Great sound for computer speakers

Would like a small light to indicate when on. I keep leaving switched on but it's a minor quibble. Price. Bit steep but you have to pay for quality i suppose

Beautiful sound, good amount of bass.
