The Logitech Soundman X1 sound great (okay, probably not the best speakers in the world, but for free, who argues?).

I purchased these speakers at Staples for 48.00 including tax. They were part of a "package deal". I bought a QuickCam and the speakers were "free". Actually I went there to buy speakers so the QuickCam was the freebie to me.

As a software developer and a part time entrepreneur, I spend most of my time in front of my PC (most time working) so I always try to get the parts to make the time in front of the machine as pleasant as possible, large display, DVD, good soundcard...

When I first got these babies, I had to bring them back a bad speaker wire I fear. But when I went back for another look at other speaker systems, I still got the same ones. From the moment I plugged them in to whenever I play a game its like wow.

I really love these speakers. I got them for free with another purchase and I kind of figured that they would be okay, but nothing to write home about. But then I have a laptop, so it wouldn't take much....

I purchased the Soundman X1 for a used Macintosh computer I had bought (I couldn't stand that internal speaker). I was told that they would be better than the Labtec LCS-2414 that I had on a previous system, which I wasn't too fond of either.

I have been bored with my 2 small speakers which came with my computer for the longest time, so I checked into these speakers, and I must say they have the biggest bang for my buck, I purchased them cheap and got Awesome sound out of them, I moved them...

I admit it. When it comes to my computer I get the best...I spoil myself...some might say I overdo it. I disagree. I spend a great deal of my time on my computer (most of it working) and I choose to make the experience as pleasant as the current...
