Can be used w/o problems at 1/4 of the max. volume, but if volume is added, noise becomes too noticable. It's out of my PC for good - may be I'll use it somewhere else...

Very pleased. My wife only needed basic sound and her (small) desk is cramped for space. These were the perfect solution. PS - The five-star rating was not in refernce to the quality of the sound, but rather the practicality and value of the item.

No problems. Works fine. Great price. As expected, sound is limited by the small enclosure, but it avoids the clutter of external speakers for a system (file server) that doesn't need to produce more than an occasional "beep".
