Breville Smart BTA840XL

I didn't want to buy an expensive toaster but the wife insisted. Also I bought a Breville microwave/oven 2 years ago and it works great. When I got it home and plugged the toaster in I was real impressed. So far after a couple of weeks it works fine.

This is a piece of garbage. I am on my second one and now this one is failing.

In 2-months's time 1/2 the elements on the left side failed (only one side of the bread toasted) and the elements on the right side appear to be failing in the same way

Bought this a month ago to replace another toaster. Decided to splurge and try this one. So glad I did. It is well worth the $$, toasts perfectly, easy to adjust and looks great on the counter.
