Text-to-speech function. Sensitive SiRF Star III receiver. Extensive POI database (Premium version).

Reflective screen. Issues with each of the media players. Lack of 2D north view. Limited information displayed in map view.

TeleType is moving in the right direction with the new WorldNav 3100 GPS. The extensive POI database, text-to-speech function, and low price make the WorldNav 3100 worth considering.

Re-routing was slow, I occasionally got "lost" while using the GPS

I am not impressed with this machine. It has high inaccuracy rate and many a times it even gets the street names wrong. It also does not perform well in finding point of interests. Overall, I would rate it negatively.

I have owned a Teletype product, but switched ASAP. They are terrible, support is terrible, and definately way over priced, DO NOT BUY A TELETYPE PRODUCT!!!!!

Don't buy

 

This gps lacks behind your actual position. You can miss a off-ramp if there are to close together. When you go thru a intersection the unit shows you coming up to that intersection that you just drove thru.
