I bought this and used it on my 10 day trip in LA/San Diego/Vegas areas. It worked great though occasionally had trouble catching the satellites. Sometimes needed to switch off and then on to catch the satellite otherwise it was just waiting forever....

This is a good basic GPS unit. I got it for only $250 after rebates from Office Depot a few months ago. Good battery life. Good use of verbal directions. i.e. "Keep left on the I 95".
