Wish I'd chosen a different brand

 

Chose this unit after checking the reviews - it was highly rated so I went ahead and bought it. Initial setup went easily enough and the unit worked well. First sign of problems came when I received a letter informing me that an upgrade was available.

Fearless driving at last!

 

I bought mine for 4 reasons: (1) road signage in Wisconsin is awful; (2) I get very anxious when I get lost; (3) the price has dropped down to around $300; and (4) most of the reviews have been very positive.

Easy to use, good ergonomics, useful gadget/toy. Cutting edge

Poor instruction/troubleshooting manual. Lots of undocumented features

worry-free driving, cool factor, upgrades are worth it

spring-loaded connector fails often, the included AC vent mount is lame, sluggish
