Says not to use distilled water..why? I would think lack of minerals would help promote the life of the product?

For steaming Clothing, it is an EXCELLENT Steamer.

My expectations were low as the last steamer I owned was many years ago and the quality was poor. This steam machine is excellent. I would redesign the top because the clips that hold the clothes are hard to operate and too short.

I hate to iron and this works really well on most clothing. You can't fully press a dress shirt but great to touch up shirts that get wrinkled in a garment bag or tight closet.
