This system puts out amazing sound for a medium sized room. I have it paired with a Samsung LN32A450 and it's a great combo. Have this system hooked up to the TV via HDMI and also an optical cable from the TV to the DVD so I can use the system speakers...

The DVD player is long (front to back, depth). It would not fit all the way back in my entertainment system. If you have one that has doors on the front, make sure you measure before you order. Not a real con, but it's the only thing I can think of.

I bought it expecting it to upscale to 720p/1080i over component, but it only upscales over HDMI. Component is limited to 480i. I didn't expect a HTIB with no HDMI inputs to be restricted in such a way.

It works and the picture looks great for 1080p upconverted dvds... Thats the only true pro

The sound output on this system SUCKS!!! I bought this as part of a $4000 home theater setup (52" Samsung 650 lcd tv,Wallmount,PS3,This,ect) to replace my 5 year old RCA home theater system i bought from Walmart for $150 and this system is weak weak...

The 5 CD/DVD option is nice. It is very easy to set up and the sound quality is good. Overall it is an excellent buy but it may not be compatable with your TV.

This System may not be compatible with your TV. I have a Philips 47 inch TV and the Samsung has some kind of a Anynet+ function that only works with Samsung TV's. the only way to turn this off is from a TV. Apparently many TVs have Anynet function but...

Does a good job with dvd playback, but only upsamples to 720p. Speakers sound great. Good number of inputs and outputs. Plays audio from ipod or USB port. Works wel with my Samsung HD TV.

Onscreen interface is a little clunky. TV has to be on when playing music from IPOD is sort of strange.

Looks great, sounds great, set-up was easy, more than adequate connections for a HTIB, IPod interface is awesome with on-screen menu's

1 Slot in 5-Disc tray no longer reads DVD's ; I plugged my laptop into it via 2.1ch RCA-Headphone jack, works well but I need to reinitialize A.uto S.ound C.alibration when I switch to watch movies in surround sound

both front and rear speaker on right side blew two days after i hooked the system up wich was a chore in its own very cheap speaker wire given to use
