Panasonic SC-BTT775 3D home theatre system

Panasonic SC-BTT775 review: This home theatre system supports 3D Blu-ray movies and has wireless speakers

Good sound quality at moderate volume levels, 3D Blu-ray playback

Complicated setup procedure, poor bass response at high volume levels, wireless connectivity is optional

The Panasonic SC-BTT775 is a convenient solution that bundles a 3D Blu-ray player with a 5.1-channel home theatre system. It's got wireless rear speakers, and despite an awkward setup procedure it is a good choice for anyone after a relatively cheap...

Panasonic SC-BTT775

Panasonic's range-topping Blu-ray system combines a typically generous spec sheet with enjoyable, if not mind-blowing sound quality

Superb picture quality ; Extensive features ; Easy to use operating system

Speaker build quality ; Sound needs more oomph ; Viera Cast content ; Expensive Skype camera

Also in the box is a compact downward-firing subwoofer (systems lower down the range use side-firing subs) with a fetching black finish and a long, slender centre speaker that should be easy to fit on a TV stand shelf. All of the speakers connect to...

Avis d'expert par : What Hi-Fi? (whathifi.com)

Panasonic SC-BTT775 review

Even in 3D the Panasonic SC-BTT775 produces outanding detail and crisp images

Outstanding picture quality ; full sound ; improved online functionality

Looks a little dowdy in this company ; speakers are floorstand-only

A great alternative to the admittedly pricier LG HX976TZW: performance is up to Panasonic’s typically polished standards

Does this revamp of 2010's home cinema package live up to its predecessor's high standards?

Superb sound and picture, but its online services are old-school

Panasonic SC-BTT775 Blu-ray 5.1 home theatre

Review A Blu-ray-in-a-box surround sound system is always going to be a bit of a compromise – you shouldn't expect the ultimate in audio quality, but you do get the convenience of having the whole kit and caboodle configuration. In the case of...

Panasonic’s premium Blu-ray-in-a-box package ticks boxes for convenience and for sound quality, but its upscaling abilities aren’t the best and the cheap-looking speakers won't appeal to everyone. But so long as your focus is on movies rather than...

Doesn't last

After 12 months, unit would not play blu-rays. Disc assembly was replaced under warranty. Now 15 months later same issue. One expects things to last not break down every 12 months or so. However, the warranty service was great, with unit repaired...

Avis d'utilisateur (productreview.com.au)

Almost good

re reliable. On the plus side though, its a great system, although wont play MKV files via usb. The DLNA works well, the wireless speakers were easy to connect and it sounds great. Although in its later years, i did start to get some scratching noise...

Well featured, easy network connection (optional wifi), wireless speakers, good sound.

Does not play some file types (mkv, some avi), unreliable playback of subtitle (.srt) files (sometimes worked, sometimes didnt). Grinding noise on bluray discs in its later years. Unable to be repaired when only 3 years old, wont play video from sd cards.
