I upgraded my ONKYO 686 for this receiver to take advantage of the four height channels. Easy to setup, way to use and sounds great. Staff in Edinburgh were very helpful and knowledgeable

Nothing is too much trouble? No pushy sales tactics, just lots of patience, super helpful knowledgable staff. Bought multimedia amplifier.

Can't say more than....WOW! Is not a cheap item but I'm happy with rvery penny I spent on it. Of course you can buy more expensive receivers with better sound but I couldn't afford more than this one.

Bought this AV receiver and very impressed with its features, ease of set-up and the quality of sound when paired with good speakers ( also Onkyo). Rear inputs/outputs very clearly marked and ability to use HDMI and optical makes it ready for pushing...

Disappointed had the Onkyo 494 previously thought this would be a great upgrade. In reality it pa ks no where near as much punch as the 494. Save your money. I'm looking to off load this as thoroughly disappointed.

The Onkyo TXRZ740 was installed 2 weeks ago and all I can say as an ex-EMI engineer is wow!!! A great sounding AV unit and very easy to set up. I mislaid the remote for 2 days and it was not a problem as I had full function control from the front panel.
