I'm using this to back up previously recorded shows on my satellite dvr (before age and obsolescence make the shows irretrievable). Also, it allows me to watch previously recorded shows in another room without having to pay for "whole house" dvr...

The "One Touch Recording" has some limitations inthat you get to chose recording times in 30 minute increments. So if your program you are "hot recording" goes 1 hour and ten minutes, you get to chose if you want to chop off the last 10 minutes or...

Newegg site says 90 day warranty but sheet from refurbisher with unit says 30 days!

Another site gave this it's top rating for burners due to cost and simplicity. If that is what you need, can't beat it.

Just what i needed

For the price, it's everything i wanted it to be. I wanted to be able to record off of TV and also change over my hours of VCR tapes to DVD's and it works great !

Good recorder priced right

Considering that they (Toshiba) are about the only player left in DVD recorders you don't have much choice. But I think it was worth the money and easy to program..

Setup in minutes. Great HDMI output

Very happy with product

It took me a little while to set it up, but once that was done it was a simple operation to record TV shows and movies. Would recommend product.

Good product for the price

It was a bit sticky getting everything lined out as far as cables needed & hook up options but now that we have had a couple of false starts we are recording good quality dvd's.
