Aluratek advertises a "black and white" screen that is "like paper." My screen is dark green with so little contrast between screen and lettering that I can only read it using a bright light source from less than 2 feet away

Price-this device is WAY cost effective. Got it for under $50. Also, it does what it's advertised to do-it's a working bookreader with a lot of capabilities. If quality of certain features are not important to you, this is the way to go

I wish the battery life were a bit longer but that is about it. PDFs are a little tough to enlarge but I did not buy this for reading PDFs. Pictures are all black and white and a little different to look at but I did not buy this for viewing photos
