We have our first retail SSD with JMicron's JMF667H controller. Paying $115 for 256 GB of fast storage sure sounds attractive, but has the company ironed out the issues that plagued it in the early days of SSDs? We run its SSD340 through our grinder.

Did all sorts of self-help stuff first to identify, then fix the problem. This included testing the RAM and my numerous reinstalls. Possible that this drive just doesn't play nice with WIndows 10 for some reason.

Quick cloning. Did not use software on HD. Faster boot now. Does not come with a spacer for those laptops that have an older thicker drive. Would be nice to include a plastic rectangle spacer.
