DOA

 

Got this for $31 here a couple weeks ago. As with many others, mine was DOA. Not recognized by the BIOS in either of 2 systems, and actually sent one of them into a boot loop. Wanted to just get a refund after seeing how high a percentage of these are...

I'm not impressed

 

If you get one that works - they work like a champ

(3) purchased in the last 6 months and 2 DOA. I had to RMA the last one twice before I finally got one that worked! The only thing that save this purchase was newegg's amazing customer service. IDK what Corsair QC department was doing but

Cheap, would not use as an OS drive

 

Now, after thinking about it, I realized this SSD is a SATA 2 spec device, and my Marvell SATA 3 controller is known to be really buggy and people never recommend using it; so I'm placing a bit of the blame on the controller, since this SSD worked...

After reading hundreds of reviews all around the internet and some reviews on newegg, I was skeptical about buying this SSD but figured what the heck; it's cheap, let's see how it goes ; Not sure if I was just lucky to get a good one from the batch,...

When I plugged this into my desktop's (Gigabyte GA-X58-UD3R) Marvell SATA3 controller and booted into Windows 7, I left it idling at the desktop for about 15 minutes ; The SSD spazzed out my entire system and gave it the FIRST BSOD of its LIFE....

Newegg shipped free

First one dead on arrival. Second one arrived yesterday dead on arrival. Again, no sign of life in laptop and again no sign of life in a Sata HDD USB Docking Station on my desktop. Put back in old slow hard drive and will call Newegg again

Disappointing Dead on Arrival!

 

I thought I could save a buck or two getting a re-certified SSD. I was excited when the SSD arrived in the mail today. I switched out my slow hard drive with this SSD hoping to speed things up but to my dismay the drive is dead. I plugged the drive...

Free shipping that took 5 days. I ordered on July 19, and it arrived on July 24
