At Computex ADATA had a variety of new SSDs on display . While most were based on upcoming technologies such as TLC NAND and the PCIe/NVMe interface, the company also displayed an XPG SX930, which is an update to ADATA's high-end XPG lineup. The series...
I did let JMicron know about my performance concerns when I tested the JMF670H reference design samples because sequential read performance in particular was below the average. JMicron promised an improvement through an upcoming firmware update and...

We review the ADATA XPG SX930 240GB SSD. It features a JMicron JMF670H controller
The ADATA XPG SX930 240GB SSD gives a decent performance. There was nothing that stood out from what we have seen in the past. The IOPS was one of the lowest we have seen in recent times. However, the drive comes at an MRP of Rs 11,500 but it has a...

Adata has finally released a follow-up to its 2012 XPG performance SSDs with the SX930 series. Managing the SATA 3 SSD is JMicron's new JMF670H controller, which promises performance close to Marvell and Samsung based SSDs. With sequential read and...

Targeted at gamers, the ADATA XPG SX930 is one of the first drives to use JMicron's new JMF670H controller. It also has something ADATA calls Enterprise-grade MLC NAND flash. What is it exactly and does the JMicron controller have the necessary chops...

Overall performance is disappointing ; Read performance falls with increasing queue depth
All things considered, the ADATA XPG SX930 is, like its performance, a rather average drive. But even though performance was disappointing, it redeems itself by being quite attractively priced and offering accessories that might be useful. And that...

ADATA's XPG SX930 SSD is replacing its SX900. Unlike most SSDs in the value segment, ADATA is fortifying the XPG SX930 with high quality, binned MLC flash.
