3x the price, much less storage, and short life... Not impressed!

 

Was quick for only being Sata 3gb/s. Installed easy. Affordable compared to comparable brands.

When it died no data was recoverable; at least standard drives give you a warning and data is recoverable. Luckily I regularly backup. Didn't even last 5 years, in my experience most disk drives last longer than that. Considerably more expensive,...

Great OS Drive

 

Great deal from a great manufacturer.

This drive is great for the price, Reliable and really can perform for an OS drive. I have owned mine for 4+ years and bought it from our local shop. However I feel the review on here would be helpful. They update their firmware quite often and keep it...

I did have my first one fail. However it was replaced and ran 100% since then. It failed on the first day with such a minor error that I almost didnt find it.

Had it for little over a year. When alive it was working good. The first time it died after six months and it was replaced under warranty. The second time died after 3 months and also replaced under warranty. I did not want to wait third time and sold...

This is my 2nd drive!

 

I have one of these as my boot drive for my Win 7 system and using it for nearly 1.5 years. Now I just got another one for my new Mac mini as a boot drive. I love it! This is fast! Great drive!

update from 7/22/12

 

Lots of people including my self are to eager to blame a new part as being bad instead of the system as a whole and hoe each component interacts.I have only bought ADATA's SSD's since then and never a problem I couldnt resolve by total system...

see old post still not one single problem since 7/22/2012

none,just make sure your system is right,I blamed the drive when really it was my bios.

Make sure you have the latest firmware update, i had to update all three of mine. ADATA offers a utility to download along with the firmware image file, the utility will detect the drive and tell you what firmware version is currently installed, then...

I really like this SSD, great performance. I bought one back on 7/25, was initially for a system upgrade on someone else's computer. Due to that person's older motherboard and lack of AHCI support, I ended up having to give him my two 60 GB Force 3's...

Junk Drive

 

Will never, ever buy a product from A-Data again.

Absolutely None.

This is the second time that I have reviewed this drive as I had returned it previously. The second drive is just as much a piece of junk as the first one. They only lasted about a week or less. Only option is a replacement since I cannot get a refund...
