The timer function is great for when you are out longer than the cooking instructions

when slow cooking anything as a liquid , stew,ect the natural steam that is created builds up and forces out through the lid ,which is not a great sealed lid anyway, it creates a puddle of liquid that drips down to the counter. not very good to leave...

Got this to replace my old one ,nice and deep but small in length so fits on the side nicely ,light to carry easy to clean and the inside has non stick which is great when cleaning overall a great machine

Used about 6 times. Cooked liver and onions, chicken breast in a stew and a beef curry etc. Cooks beautifully. Great to have the timer. Never had one of these before and wonder how I have managed up until now.
