Dacor Distinctive DMW2420S

This is a built in unit and the third Dacor one we have had in this space in 12 years. We keep buying it because it fits. Works adequately, but reliability is only fair. On the other had, ABTs service,price and delivery is excellent.

We had the stainless steel version in the 1200W model. It no longer comes in stainless so we switched to this model. It is actually a better microwave than the previous model!

Microwave is very powerful - things heat up much more quickly than my old Dacor that died. The one thing I don't care for as much on this new model is the time display. The blue light is very bright and is a little difficult to read. But the microwave...

We bought this unit primarily because it was exactly the size required for our custom cabinetry. We were happy with the previous Decor unit. This unit is essentially the same.

Love this microwave

It's relatively quiet. We use it for simple applications. I hope it lasts for a long while. It was more expensive than I expected.

it has plenty of power and capacity

I don't recommend Dacor for any new installation. The current microwave died after just over 5 years of occasional use. Ours is a built-in and the new Dacor fit the old (VERY EXPENSIVE)install kit and the SS matches the oven. Otherwise we would have...
