Kenmore 8,000 BTU Single Room Thru-the-Wall Air Conditioner

Purchased this unit about a year ago, had nothing but problems, starting with  loud vibrations ending with a defective compressor-after a year the compressor broke and sears tryied to charge me an arm and leg for this problem.Please stay away from this...

I bought one of these, it lasted through the summer. I had no problems. Energy cost is a factor though. I would shop arround for the true best value when it comes to energy cost.

Decent price and works good, keeps our bedroom very comfortable, we had to replace another kenmore air conditioner that we had for 11 yrs..

Bought the 8000 BTU for large room 16x30. This product cooled off the room in about 30 minutes with the outside temp at about 90 degrees. We also thought of purchasing a 10,000 or 12,000 but glad we purchased this one and for the price it was a great...
