First impressions surprisingly good!

 

I was originally looking for a 'portable' aircon to use in my caravan over the next couple of weeks of 40+ degree heat, but the cost, size and poor efficiency of portable units put me off. I decided instead to get a window unit. It was definitely the...

Small, light, cheap. Surprisingly high quality look and feel.

Needs clearer instructions regarding drainage, even if just to put the mind at ease.

OK for a small room

 

The Kelvinator 1.65kW aircon is OK for a small bedroom (say <12sq/m) but if you have a larger room then definitely choose something larger, at least 2.7kW otherwise it will work too hard and not be able to cycle as most a/c units are designed to....

Small, lightweight and basic unit, no remote to go mysteriously missing.

Has to work too hard to cool an average size room, but OK for a small room.
