cools well when functional

no damage to carton,The unit would not run without scraping noises.The unit was severly dented on top and side,Had to remove metal cover and straighten out sheet metal before the unit would function.Once I put things back together the unit worked well

Great price for the size. Works excellently. Easy enough installation. Not nearly as heavy as my old unit. Unit was in prestine condition (did the other reviewers buy the reconditioned unit by mistake?)

The AC works perfect for the 2nd floor attic. Within an hour, it dropped the temperature 6 degrees. Planning on buying another one to replace an aging AC

Need to be careful with the directional plates, as they do come lose. Seem fragile, but it isn't something you should be moving around all the time
