Frigidaire 5000BTU A/C is quiet & efficient for mid-size bedroom

 

We tried in vain to find a 6500 - 8000 BTU unit for our bedroom, but the heat wave was upon us and everything everywhere was sold out (in that size)! So, we thought we'd give this 5000 BTU a try - not expecting too much but hoping that it would help...

This AC is okay. It is not powerful enough to make our medium size room cold in this crazy hot weather. It is better for a small room.

Side panels of special-order, extra-small attic window ac unit too big for installation space and still had to go to hardware store for installation extras. HELLO, small unit, small side panel installation accordions!!!!
