Great while it lasted...

 

The keyboard feels very solid, and was a pleasure to type on. I also really appreciate how minimal it is when so many keyboards seem to come packed with extraneous features

As countless reviews here have said, the USB connector is the major weak point. The keyboard lasted me around 18 months before starting to show connectivity issues to the point where it's no longer usable. This is from 18 months spent mostly siting...

Great keyboard, very responsive with no nonsense layout and looks

I can't believe that they couldn't have spent another $0.05 and just hot glued the usb receiver on this keyboard. It broke after a couple of years of use and I had to resolder the USB port back on and hot glued gunned it so that it wouldn't move...

Great keyboard, very responsive with no nonsense layout and looks

I can't believe that they couldn't have spent another $0.05 and just hot glued the usb receiver on this keyboard. It broke after a couple of years of use and I had to resolder the USB port back on and hot glued gunned it so that it wouldn't move...

Many cheap electronics have poorly soldered usb connections. They will break after few inserts/removals. Only use these equipment if you do not plan to move them or tape the plug to the device so you don't accidentally put stress on the usb connection....

good keyboard when it's not broken. What you'd expect for a mechanical

Breaks if the usb is plugged in the wrong way or removed the wrong way. Can be salvageable if you know how to solder

Other than the USB connector, this keyboard takes punishment and is study in design. Some think it noisy compared to other keyboards. I came here to buy another keyboard but Newegg is out of stock. If Rosewill mechanically strengthens the USB connector...

Increased my wife's typing speed ; Takes a pounding from gaming teenagers ; The USB cable is sturdy compared to other keyboard cables ; However the USB connector on keyboard is the weakness with this keyboard as of 2012

The USB connector on the keyboard PCB broke at the solder joints ; Had to repair by soldering USB cable wires directly to PCB and add strain relief to cable

Defective keyboard. Won't make right.

 

Was good, but does not matter when it fails. IT WILL FAIL

Keyboard failed as will all these keyboards sold. The reason being a fault USB connector that all of these keyboards have. They will all fail over time, just depends how much you unplug your USB ; They will not replace because it has been 3 years since...
