My ears!

Keytronic didn't put their name on the top. This really caught me off guard when I noticed. But there is a conspicuous rectangle in the upper left corner. Perfect spot to add your own paint, decal, or raised lettering to match the rest of your setup.

Heavy and sturdy, I'll be very surprised if this thing doesn't last as long as the $100+ brands

These guys weren't kidding, I have a late-80s no-name buckling switch keyboard that's quieter than this thing

Keyboards are personal

I wouldn't want to be in a room full of people all using this keyboard. It's the old school clickity clack type keyboard. Some folks may love it, but I need something more tactile and low profile. I'll be looking for another unit.

It certainly is a rugged unit, well built, and the cable and connector are heavy duty

It's noisy and IMO the keys are too springy, in other words, too much mechanical action required to engage a key stroke

Very well built board

This keyboard is your everyday standard keyboard. All the keys are where they need to be and there is no special design that confuse first time users. All the buttons located on the top are there for easy access to internet, volume and etc

My permanent backup

I bought one of these a long time ago from another vendor because it was the cheapest one they'd bundle with the system, but it's turned out to be the one I can count on to never fail.

This keyboard is well-built and has outstanding tactility for what is basically a garden-variety membrane-switch keyboard. It's still leagues behind the old IBM Model M, but so is everything else. If I didn't game and only needed my keyboard to type...

PS/2 only. It's a bit loud, but I like that

Need to load software for media controls to work (XP)

Keys have strong tactile feedback which I like because I type hard. Other people may find this annoying ; Mouse has a neutral shape and could be right or left handed

The keyboard is very light and wants to move around while I type. I needed to wedge it against the monitor stand to keep it from wandering around ; I am allergic to some plastics and it appears this keyboard is made from them so it will be going back...

Not a good choice for this price range

I also found that those fives reviews for this keyboard are misleading. Overall, either buy one of Keytronic's Life-time series, or buy from other brands.

Works and no keys are missing

The key, sound, response, comfort level and body build give a very cheap feeling. At about $20, you can find better ones from other providers. Comparing with KeyTronic Life-time keyboard, which I have used for two years, this keyboard is way below the...

Great keyboard, short cord

I've been a fan of KeyTronic keyboards for years. They last forever

The cord is two feet shorter than the giveaway keyboards from DELL. If your PC is under a large desk, forget about it

Black keyboard

Newegg was very apologetic but still haven't moved it to the black keyboard section. Hence, this review.

This keyboard is actually black, although the description says beige. The E05351U1HUB is beige ; I am writing this to prevent someone else from getting the wrong color keyboard

None that I know. I opened the box, closed it and sent it back. I then ordered the beige one

Solid

Ok, so it's not a cool, hip, or stylish design, but it's a great keyboard that does what it's supposed to do.

Solid and well built. Nice feel to the keys

Doesn't type for you ;-)

Solid

My school uses these keyboards for all their labs--probably about 900 in total. These things get typed on by college kids (read: abused horribly) in some cases for hours at a time. I work for the labs and have yet to replace one. These things are tanks.

Bulletproof. Nice feel, really solid. You know you're typing (and so does everyone else)

Wish Newegg sold it in black
