If you don't mind the slightly slow write speed (noticeable only during large game installations), the drive is great. Otherwise, I would suggest the Seagate drives which comes with Smart Align, which allows the drive to avoid read-modify-write...

PS3 Hard Drive Upgrade

 

If I had to do it again, I would go with a 750GB hard drive upgrade in hopes that the performance issues would be eliminated.

Price - $65 after promo discount ; Size - 1 TB

Performance - Slightly slower downloads/installs (5% - 10%) ; Freezes - So far I've had to shutdown my PS3 three times due to freezing. Buttons did nothing, I had to physically unplug the power cord

Great Hard Drive

 

Needed to upgrade an old laptop. Used this drive with windows 7. I don't need the speed of an SSD but I do need the larger drive. This combo worked great for me.

Great drive for the money. installed easily in my old G60 laptop. no hiccups whatsoever

This is a nice case. Made my CM elite 310 look really small. The cons I listed are not that bad and not worth docking an egg for. Anyone that needs a good quiet case with lots is space and good cable management this ones for you.

Good size. Cable management is good. Lots of drive bays for whatever you have. The fans move a good amount of air

Not sure what the issue is as the drive will work as a external drive in a enclosure but not as a internal drive in a Alienware m14x.
