This is the 3rd coffee maker I have purchased in the last 6 months. Every one I get has a terrible melting plastic smell after the pot is brewed. I thought going back to a glass carafe would eliminate this problem.

Replacing same brand but 10 cup vs. 12 cup which is ideal for the tow of us. The other one last over 8 yrs and we expect the same durability and reliability from this Krups.

Coffee Maker is nice looking, but has certain problems. The perking process is much too slow and one has to be very careful while pouring the coffee so it does not spill. The coffee is tasty once made.
