Satisfied with purchase. Two drawbacks: #1. Arthritic hands(fingers) = difficult to open carafe. #2. Recommend you pre-warm the carafe to maximize length of time brewed coffee will stay hot. (hard to do with the timer).

the pot drives me nuts! It's hard to pour, hard to clean, and invariably gets grounds on top.

This is our second cuisinart coffeemaker and it is not wonderful like the last one which we had for years. The carafe is designed poorly, so in order to pour out last bit of coffee, you have to tip it completely upside down and it invariably splatters....

We've had the 12 cup model in daily use for 7 years, still going strong. Important to change the water filter inside the pot for optimal brew; we buy these filters in bulk, change once every 5-6 weeks.
