They recommend "course ground" but this nomenclature is no longer used on the outside of coffee containers. With Yuban I'm using you get a little bit of fine sediment at the bottom of the cup. No big deal since the taste is superior to coffee machine.

Works well. No longer use my drip coffee maker.

This french press is wonderful. Makes delicious coffee. Sturdy and of great quality. Worth the price.
