Samsung Saga (Verizon Wireless) review: Samsung Saga (Verizon Wireless)

The Samsung Saga offers world-roaming capabilities and features a touch screen and full QWERTY keyboard. The Windows Mobile 6.1 smartphone also has integrated Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, EV-DO Rev. A support, and a 2-megapixel camera.

The Saga suffers from some slight sluggishness, and call quality could be a tad better. The smartphone doesn't support international 3G bands like the BlackBerry Storm.

For Verizon's globetrotting customers, the Samsung Saga offers a sleek messaging smartphone with world-roaming capabilities and solid performance, all for an affordable price.

Samsung Saga Review

With all the attention Verizon given the BlackBerry Storm this holiday season, the Samsung Saga i770 as slipped under the radar by most people. It replaces the i760, which came out a year ago, but is more advanced and comes in a slimmer form factor. It...

Samsung Saga Review

Its non-flip, single-piece design should have wide appeal to business and consumer users due to a vivid touchscreen, highly-usable keyboard, functional camera, and overall snappy performance

I especially appreciate the large touchscreen, as I find Windows Mobile Standard devices -- which lack touchscreens -- to be somewhat annoying. Add a functional camera and a good keyboard, and the Saga deserves classification as a serious contender as...

Samsung Saga Review

The Samsung Saga is a Windows Mobile smartphone that offers Verizon voice and high-speed data service in the U.S., but can also be used on wireless networks around the world. Other features include a built-in keyboard and Wi-Fi.

The Samsung Saga is nowhere near as elegant as the

Review: Samsung Saga, LG Incite & HTC Fuze

We were happy to see that the touch pad makes one-handed operation easy, whether you're opening applications or typing out e-mail. The home screen offers a tabbed interface that lets you quickly change connection options, open favorite applications,...

The Fuze is fairly thick (4.02 x 2.01 x 0.71-inches) and weighty (5.82 ounces) for a small phone. The display measures 2.8-inches and 480 by 640 pixels

Samsung Saga Review (SCH-i770) - Pocket PC Central Review (Samsung Saga Verizon)

Samsung understands Windows Mobile. This is something I began to appreciate during my recent review of the Samsung Epix, and it's even clearer to me now after weeks spent with its sister CDMA smartphone, the Samsung Saga SCH-i770.

Touchpad UI Navigation; 802.11g Wi-Fi, Bluetooth & aGPS; Solid, QWERTY Slab Design; Excellent Mobile Web Browser; Great Call Quality; Good Battery Life

No Side Scroll Wheel; Blue Shell Color

The Saga has great battery life, doesn't require a stylus, includes a top-notch mobile web browser, can be augmented with up to 16GB of additional storage, and is an excellent phone to boot. Another winner from Samsung.
