LG Lancet (Verizon Wireless) review:

It's been several years since LG released a Windows Phone device (we reviewed the LG Optimus 7 , for example, back in 2010). But with its Lancet handset for Verizon Wireless, the company has made a return to Microsoft's mobile operating system.

The compact LG Lancet has a comfortable design, a competitively low price, and a capable 8-megapixel camera.

The device has a low-res display and its data speeds were inconsistent and slow at times. As a Windows phone, its app store isn't as robust as Apple iOS' and Google Android's.

Affordable. Responsive performance. Good battery life

Disappointing camera. Uninspired design

Windows Phone diehards have seen their handset options reduced to a trickle lately, and few would have guessed that LG would be behind the latest release. Alas, those awaiting a new flagship-level smartphone can continue holding their breath—the $120...

Review: LG Lancet for Verizon Wireless

The LG Lancet is a low-cost Windows Phone that's easy grasp and offers a lot of value for the dollar with Microsoft's productivity apps on board. The Lancet proves that sometimes small stands tall. Here is Phone Scoop's full review of this compact...

At $120, the LG Lancet under-promises and over-delivers. You might be fooled into thinking a low-cost handset would be sluggish and unable to perform. That's not the case with LG's little phone.
