does not work with comcast HD

cool remote but the fact it won't support my comcast remote really sucks.

cool remote, ability to 'learn' commands from most remotes, back-lit screen and buttons

it does not work with comcast HD remote. also, my remote came with a big black spot on the lcd, you only see it with the backlight on. its about the size of a finger nail. still not enough for me to return it, but very annoying

Over 3 Years In Use

Before you begin programming, write down all the function and menus to be programmed (like a map). Once you spend an evening programming it, you will never need to touch it again, I haven't.

Bought this over 3 years ago and use it every single day without ANY issues. Has a great "feel" and is well balanced for everyday usage. This thing is built like a tank. Has fallen many times from 5ft or more (on carpet). The battery door is still...

Takes a while to program if you want more than 1 button, 1 function and several devices. A PC connection isn't offered in this model. The black matte finish is wearing in some areas but this is after holding it for 100's of hours...and falling asleep...

A very nice durable remote control

I think that the ability to define "macros" consisting of a sequence of commands assigned to one of several buttons is one of the most compelling features of this remote. This allows you to do things like turn all of your devices on or off with the...

It's durable. I've had mine for over six years now. It's held up well and still looks good.

IR only. This is not a problem for me, since all of my equipment is controlled via infra-red.

Works wonderfully

Still learning with it, but it was well worth the money. Once I get the rest of my entertainment system setup it'll be even better.

This thing is excellent. It does everything I need and more. I've gone from four remotes down to one. The Learning feature helped a lot as my Television and dvd player were an off brand and weren't in the book. Very easy to setup and figure out.

Could be a little bit easy to navigate between devices. Could also stand to be able to punch more then just volume, play and channel. I have a swap option on my T.V. for switching inputs. Currently have to select the T.V. option to get back to my swap...

Great remote

I got around the "Enter"button problem mentioned above by programming another key for the Enter function.

I bought this remote about 3 years ago, it's performed flawlessly. Output of the infrared LED is strong enough to bounce the infrared off walls to control the equipment. Works with all my components: Sony TV, DAT recorder and CD player ; Panasonic DVR...

The "Enter" button in the center of the joystick is difficult to press without activating one of the directional arrows. It really should be a separate button, and not part of the circular joystick

Great Remote

There is nothing comparable on the market for under $150 in my opinion.

Great Universal remote for $70 It does everything I needed it to do and I have gone from 5 remotes to ONE!!! Easy to program and the learning function makes it a great value. Backlight is good enough. Plenty of room for macros I need. Wife and kids are...

battery life is short . . about 4 months. needed to purchase another $15 remote for entering discrete codes and then learning them on this remote, not ideal but it does work.

Exactly what I have been looking for...

I have been looking for a universal remote to replace/upgrade my simple but stable OneForAll-URC-8901 for years. I have been looking at the Logitech models and the OneForAll Kameleon series but the Newegg reviews are in my opinion less than stellar.

I can't remember the last time I have thought to myself so many times that a product was so expertly engineered. The functionality is amazing. Each and EVERY time I think to myself "I wonder if it can do ...", I read a new page in the manual, and yes,...

My only complaint is that it looks kind of bland compared to some of the Logitech models. Most people that come over tell me they don't agree so maybe its just me.

Love this Remote

Everything. I already owned one for the "man room" and just bought a second one for the family room.

Great remote and a steal at this new price!

Despite one comment from another owner, I find this to be an easy remote to program and it "learns" other remote's codes easily.

I wish the "favorite" channel selection was device-independent.
