Great Product

I'm really satisfied with this product, it works great operates my HD satellite receiver located in another room thru walls with not problems at all, instant response to commands. This product has a small footprint and blends in with your room decor....

Sweet

Its almost football season!!

It took longer to undo the twist ties on the packaging than to plug the units in and see them work.( I did not need the little infrared pigtail extender) My receiver box is in the bedroom, I am able to easily control the TV in the living room now...

I wish I had bought this long ago, although angling pictures with reflective glass frames and mirrors can be fun and challenging!(I have done that before and it does work, but friends and casual visitors will look at you funny)

Wonderful device

Make sure it's what you want before you buy it. It drop ships, so no returns.

It works great right out of the box. I got it to control a surveillance system DVR. I was worried about whether it would be compatible, but it works great. The transmitter and receiver are on different floors of my building, and it works just like the...

Kind of an odd shape. Would have been better for my application to have a square box that I could screw to the wall instead of taking up counter space.

RCA D940 Remote Control Signal Sender

Does what it needs to… For me it's to hit the entertainment center from 30+ feet away with obstacles. Took some doing to find the magical spots to get to units positioned just right, won with screaming success :)

Perfect Option

Worked exactly as expected. I am able to control my satellite receiver located on the first floor from down in the basement at one other end of the house. Took it out of the box plug both units in and it worked first time.

No so far.

Inexpensive and easy

This is a useful device.

I can control my neighbor's satelite reciever from my living room, fantastic! Had to position the units and antenna just right. The port lets you plug in an IR diod if you can't put it in front of the device. I extended the signal over twisted pair for...

You have to be in front of the transmitter for it to pick up your remote very well. A better product might have had several IR recievers spaced around it.

Won't work through 1 wall

I tested this with both units in the same room, and they worked fine.

Looks nice, blinks to indicate that it received your signal

Won't transmit signal through 1 wall, receiver and transmitter are right on the other sides of a wall from each other and the receiver doesn't register the commands.

IR Remote Control Extender

I do not have any delay whatsoever when switching between remote controls, as reported by others. Perhaps that is because all of my remotes operate on the same frequency ?

This thing is GREAT! It does exactly what it is supposed to do. I have all of my A/V components in my computer room. I have it set-up so that I can capture any video/audio right to my PC, and I can do it remotely from a different room. All of my...

so far, none.

IR Remote Control Extender

Neweg ROCKS! FedEx ROCKS! Strangely, UPS delivered one box in my order after sending it to another state, that delayed it by one day.

Does what it says - extends IR remote control signals using RF. So far used with digital cable box and VCR. I don't know what that other dude is on. This doesn't take any batteries. Transmitter unit and receiver unit plugs into outlets. Comes with an...

Couple seconds delay when switching between different remotes as if the transmitter unit re-interprets signal. Receiver unit uses single telescoping antenna that sticks out. Receiver unit and/or emitter needs to be within 3 ft. of device you want to...
