Cheap, learning disabled

LED lights up indicating which device mode is selected

Flimsy. Tiny buttons are not difficult to press but have a poor tactile feel. Instructions are written in Engrish and it took some time to realize that it would not successfully learn from my tv remote - the remote indicates learning was a success, but...

learning is good.

a much better investment than the two black Anyware remotes.

great remote, can be programed to control multiple devices. Pretty simple to program after you go through the steps a couple times

the navigate backwards button is a thumb stretch from the navigational arrows - by no means a huge deal, just a little more thumb exercise than I'd prefer

Good Item but with Flaws

If you have an HTPC or an Xbox 360, you will really love this remote. If you have both, you might consider a non-infrared remote for controlling your PC.

If you have an HTPC and you want to make use of Windows Media Center, this is the remote for you. You can have a fully functional HTPC and never have to leave the couch. It can even control an Xbox 360

I ran into one big downside when I pressed the Media Center button and it turned on the Media Center program in Vista... and it turned on the Xbox 360 sitting right next to the HTPC. That just won't do for me, but perhaps some might want that feature....

works like a charm

I am very satisfied with the purchase. I am using it on Windows Vista Home Premium now.

white so it matches my TV, computer and shoji screen. Works from across the room with no difficulties. it seems plenty durable. I don't think I will have any problems with it.

I thought I would like the learning feature more than I do. I haven't really set down and programmed all the functionality I want yet. I wish I could just enter the codes to get it to work with the equipment. Maybe I can but the instructions with it...

XP no go

For the price its worth every penny.

While I knew this was for Vista/MCE I thought I could get it to work with XP. While I could get the remote recognized I it never would respond to key-presses. The good news is MythTV loves this remote.. by winblows :)

The record button is flush as others mention, but even my fat fingers can press it without tools if I try hard enough.

Highly Recommended

Ive read how some people complained about the craftsmanship of the remote but its no worse than my official sony ps3 remote. Its lightweight and sturdy enough.

I wasnt sure what to expect based on the reviews but I couldnt be more pleased. For the price, it more than delivered. It learned my tv, cable, and logitech 5.1 remote. The response time from the remote to the selected device is quite fast. My last...

None i can think of though i do wish it had more devices it could control. I also wish it had a zoom button like their other model does but these things dont take away how great this remote is for the price.

Not an MCE remote!

Its light and white, add some weight turn it black and add an IR tx for a real MCE remote.

Remote controls many functions of PC and does well learning others

Windows MCE, Vista or XP, requires an IR transmitter connected to the receiver. This does not have one so live TV or video recording through MCE does not work. I don't like products claiming something they are not

Wee, it's a clicker!

In all I'm not real impressed. The dell remote I got a long while back for my old XP system felt better, but one of my Basset Hounds ate it.

It's a clicker.. You can control stuff with it ; )

I got this as a gamble for my XP HTPC.. Sadly my gamble lost. Even after much work and trying several things ranging from third party software to tracking down hotfixes that MS doesn't directly say anything about, I was not able to get it working in XP

Save your time and money

Good price, looks good

Lightweight, feels extremely cheap. Worked on one of my computers, unfortunately not on my HTPC. Not sure why both computers are running the same OS and everything. I emailed their support only to not get any reply. Finding a number for support never...
